Problem:
You created an English review request page with a Strong Testimonial form and used String Translation to translate the form text to Dutch. However, not all translations are shown on the Dutch page.
Solution:

Contexte de la question:
I created an English review request page with a Strong Testimonial form: lien caché. As recommended, I used String Translation to translate the form text to Dutch. However, not all translations are shown on the Dutch page: lien caché. When using "Can't find the strings you're looking to translate?" I discovered that some Dutch fields have English text, which I cannot translate. See: lien caché.

Symptômes:
Some text remains in English on the Dutch page, even though I expected all texts to be translated into Dutch.

Questions:
Why are some texts not translated into Dutch despite using String Translation?
How can I ensure all form texts are translated correctly?

Hi,

If the issue is that there is a wrong language of the registered string (as can be seen in your screenshot), can you check this?

But as for the Strong Testimonial plugin, did you check and follow this?

Hi Bruno,

Many thanks for your help. Changing the source language did work for a few things, but not for the prompts (What is your full name? , A headline for your testimonial., etc.).

I started the process as suggested in the 2nd link (how to translate testimonial fields...) but am very reluctant to "Translate all my current content plus new content as I create it.". I am afraid this will really mess with the already translated pages.

And I guess choosing the option "Only translate new content I create starting now." will not help resolving the issue.

Can you please shine your light on this?

I apologize but I did not realize that they suggest "Translate Everything" for this. This is definitely not needed as this applies to all the content on the website.

Translate Everything is not needed if you want to translate only the content you want and when you want (e.g. these testimonials).

OK, glad I did not do this. But still the texts are not translated, while they are translated in String Translation - so what should I do now?

The not translated texts are the prompts. I might have to advise my client to forget about the prompts.
