Este hilo está resuelto. Aquí tienes una descripción del problema y la solución.

Problem:
The client needed help translating sliders in the Woodmart theme using Elementor and ensuring they display correctly in different languages. Issues included sliders not appearing in the translated language, losing original formatting, and not stretching to full width.
Solution:
1. We provided a guide for translating Woodmart theme sliders: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/create-multilingual-websites-using-woodmart-theme-and-wpml/#translating-sliders
2. To ensure links within sliders translate correctly, we advised using the Advanced Translation Editor as detailed here: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-urls-shortcodes-and-html-attributes-using-the-advanced-translation-editor/#how-can-i-translate-urls-in-the-advanced-translation-editor
3. For sliders not displaying correctly, we suggested resaving both the default and translated pages. More information can be found in this support thread: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/i-would-like-the-correct-slide-with-correct-language-to-be-shown-only-not-all-of-them/
4. To address issues with slider appearance and formatting, we recommended copying Elementor styles by setting the

_elementor_css

custom field to 'Copy' and updating translations.
5. For full-width display issues, we instructed to enable the 'Stretch' option in the slider settings for each language.
6. We applied custom CSS to fix a specific issue with the max-width setting in the English slider:

#slider-374 .wd-slide-container .wd-slide-inner {<br />    max-width: 880px !important;<br />}

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hello Ana,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support. Sorry for the delay in responding due to the weekend.

To reduce the waiting time, I took this ticket and responded in English. Please let me know if you're okay with it or want to continue the conversation in Spanish language. I will check and forward the ticket to one of our Spanish supporters to assist you in the Spanish language.

I understand what you're looking for. The 'Slider' post type is part of the Woodmart theme, and we have a detailed guide on how to translate the Woodmart theme slider. Please refer to the guide below to learn about the translation process.

I hope it will help. Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,

Hi,Prosenjit.

Thanks for your reply.

I have followed the instructions you have sent me, but when I get to the place, I see that I cannot click on the "translatable" option, it is blurred.
View image.

How can I mark it as translatable?

(With the woodmart Theme, I use Elementor as an editor)

Thank you
Ana

Perdón...

Como se cambia un link que tengo en un botón en el slider original (español) a un producto de la tienda en los otros idiomas?

No veo que el la traducción aparezca.

Como pongo el link correcto que lleve al producto en ingles y en frances?

Gracias

Tengo otro problema.

He traducido ya un slider en español al ingles y frances, (excepto el link del boitón) pero no se muestran los sliders en su idioma.

Siguen mostrandose en español cuando estás en la pagina en ingles o frances.

Quedo atenta a vuestra respuesta.

Gracias.

Hi There,
Thank you for the update.

Glad to hear that you were able to translate the slider.

To translate the links, while translating the sliders, you need to search for the links in the translation editor, where they will appear for translation. For a detailed understanding of the overall process, please refer to this guide: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-urls-shortcodes-and-html-attributes-using-the-advanced-translation-editor/#how-can-i-translate-urls-in-the-advanced-translation-editor

I hope it will help.

As you mentioned that the translated slider is not showing correctly, you may need to resave both the default and translated pages so that the correct slider appears in each language. Could you please try the solution mentioned in the ticket below and check if that helps in solving the issue?

Let me know how it goes. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi,

He podido traducir los slider y ya se muestran en su ididoma, pero han perdido el formato del slider principal, es eso normal?

Como he de hacer para que respete el formato del origginal (espacios, tamaños, colores)

O lo tengo que hacer manualmente?

(adjunto imagen)

Gracias,

Ana

Hello Ana,
Thank you for the update.

Glad to hear that the slider is now showing in each language.

Since you're having issues with the slider's appearance - if the slider is created using Elementor, the styles should also be copied during the translation process. Could you pleaser try the following steps and check if that helps in solving the issue?

- Please go to "WPML > Settings" and scroll to the 'Custom field translation'
- Click on 'Show system field'
- In the Search box on the Custom field translation section, enter _elementor_css
- Set the translation preference for the field to 'Copy' and save the changes.
- Open the default slider in WordPress editor and make a small change in the title.
- Save the changes and update the translation. Make sure that the translation is 100% completed and save the changes.
- Clear the caches and check again.

I hope this helps. However, if the issue persists, you may need to manually update the style by editing the slider in each language.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi Prosenjit! 😊

Thank you very much for your help.
Your advice has been great!!!

Just a detail...

The original slider in Spanish is shown as fullwidh and in the translated versions it appears as boxed. fullwidh does not appear

How can I change that? 🙄

I have reviewed editing the sliders with Elementor and the configuration is apparently the same. (images attached)

I would like them all in fullwidh.

Thank you very much for your great help!!

Ana 😊

Hi Ana,

Glad to hear that the suggestions helped.

In the Woodmart slider settings, there is an option to make the slider full-width. Please refer to this guide for more details: enlace oculto.

Could you please open the translated slider and ensure that the full-width setting is applied there as well?

I think the issue should be resolved by adjusting the settings in the translated slider.

If you need further assistance, please feel free to let me know. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi Prosenjit.,

Thanks for your answer.

Of the two sliders I have, three slides each, one of them was already set to fullwidth and was not in fullwidth .

The other one did not have the fullwidth box checked and I checked it, but it did not show fullwidth either.

It must be something else that is happening.

That could be happening?

I will be expecting your answer.

Thank you!

Ana

Hi Ana,
Thank you for the update.

It seems that a specific setting related to width adjustments is not applied in the translated slider, which is why the translated slider width is not the same as the default slider. Could you please share the link to the page where the slider is placed? I will check and let you know what to do next.

Looking forward to your response.

Prosenjit
