Background of the issue:
I am trying to get the German language dropdown menu to show on my default English website. The website is versteckter Link. On the German version of the website, versteckter Link, the header menu shows English as a selection. English is also available in the footer selection. I have cleared SG cache, web browser cache, and static CSS file generation. The translation is 100% complete. The menu strings are also translated, to the best of my understanding.
Symptoms:
German does not show in the menu of the English version of the website. The English menu is primary, and English is the default language.

Why is the German language dropdown menu not showing on the English version of the website?
