To reduce the waiting time, I took this ticket and responded in English. Please let me know if you're okay with it or prefer to continue the conversation in Spanish. I will be happy to forward it to one of my Spanish-speaking colleague.
I understand the issue you're having but, to get a better overview of the site and system, Please add the WPML Debug information in the next reply. Please check the guide below to understand how you can get the debug information.
Hello, thank you for your response, okay we can continue in English although I am not an expert :).
Regarding the debugging information, we tried to copy it yesterday, but we don't know why the form didn't admit the code. I think there is no problem today and we will attach it to you.
Thank you and we are waiting for a response. All the best
Hi There,
Thank you for sharing the debug information.
I have checked the info and everything seems to be well configured. However, upon inspecting the homepage, I found that the section that isn't displaying the translation correctly has been created using the theme's default Elementor widget.
Please be informed that the theme that you're using(TastyC) is not listed in our compatible theme directory[You can check from here: https://wpml.org/theme/ ]. So, there is a high chance that the translation support may not be integrated into the widget you've used. This could be why the content from those widgets isn't displaying the translation properly.
However, the good news is, we do have a solution on hand. We have a tool available that can assist in creating the necessary configuration for these custom widgets with just a few clicks. This tool is designed to reduce the time and effort of manually registering custom Elementor widgets by writing configurations for each one. To use this tool and better understand the process, kindly refer to the instructions in the following documentation: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-compatibility-test-tools-plugin/registering-custom-elementor-widgets-for-translation/
Once the configuration for the Widgets is added, you should be able to translate the contents added within the widgets and the translation will appear properly.
However, while checking the theme details on Themeforest, it's stated that the theme is compatible with WPML. It's possible they haven't submitted their theme for compatibility testing, which could explain why it's not listed in our directory. You might also consider contacting the theme developer about this issue and suggest joining the WPML's Go Global program: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/
If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to assist!
I checked the pages and seems the French and English versions haven't been published yet. Which is why, I can't access the English or French version of the pages.
Would you please publish the translation so that I can check what is going on?
I totally can understand the matter. Upon revisiting the site, I noticed that the English translations are now accessible. However, I was unable to locate the 'Letter' on your website.
If the problem is happening on that particular page and the page hasn't been published yet, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a closer look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated.
You will find the needed fields below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.
IMPORTANT
-Please backup site files and database before providing us access.
-If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: enlace oculto
Looking forward to your response.
Best Regards,
Prosenjit
