[Feature Request] WCAG 2.2 Compliant

Problem:
You are trying to ensure your website is WCAG 2.2 compliant, but you encounter an issue with the WPML footer language switcher not having a landmark for 'English', which prevents your page from passing WCAG validation.
Solution:
We are currently working on making WPML compliant with WCAG guidelines. The update that addresses the issue with the language switcher is expected in version 4.8, tentatively scheduled for release in July. We do not have an exact release date yet.

If this solution becomes irrelevant due to its timing or if it does not resolve your specific case, we recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
