Problem: The client needed to update internal links to point to a new, manually shortened URL slug, as WPML used the translated H1s for the URL slug, resulting in undesirably long URLs.
Solution: 1) We recommended approving the translation reviews first in WPML → Translations for the Portuguese translation of the page. 2) We instructed the client to edit the original German page, make a minor modification, update the page, and then use the WPML translation editor to translate the URL slug for Portuguese. 3) We advised repeating the process for any other pages that required updating. 4) We clarified that the client should use the WPML advanced translation editor to make these changes, as they had already activated the option to include the URL slug in translations.
