Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with translations between English and French versions of content in the Elios Technical Library becoming disconnected after updates. This requires manual reconnection using the 'Connect with translations' option.
Solution:
We recommend checking the translation settings for the 'Elios Technical Library' content to ensure it is configured correctly for automatic management by WPML:
1. Navigate to WPML → Settings in your WordPress admin area.
2. Scroll to the Post Types Translation section.
3. Locate the entry for your 'Elios Technical Library' content type, which might be listed under a custom post type name.
4. Set this content type to Translatable - use translation editor to help WPML manage translation links and updates effectively.
5. Save any changes by clicking the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Another workaround would be to properly set the source_language_code for your translations.
Please make sure you have a backup of your site before running any SQL requests that follow:

UPDATE `wp_icl_translations` SET
`source_language_code` = 'en-ca'
WHERE `source_language_code` = 'en';
