Ce sujet est résolu. Voici une description du problème et de la solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with translating an Elementor "upsells" widget that only appears in the default language (English) and shows up empty in other languages, it's likely because the upsell products themselves have not been translated.
Solution:
First, ensure that all upsell products added in the original version are translated into the secondary language. If the upsell products were translated after the main product, you need to update the original product and then update its translation to ensure the translated upsell products are linked correctly.
Alternatively, you can bulk select and update products to copy the Upsell information to the translations. For guidance on bulk editing products, please see this documentation: https://woo.com/document/bulk-editing-products/
Additionally, you can try synchronizing the products by going to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting, selecting "Product" from the dropdown under "Cleanup", and clicking on "Synchronize Post Taxonomies".

Bonjour

Je ne vois pas comment traduire un widget elementor qui n'apparait que dans la langue défaut (anglais). En fait on le voit dans les autres langues, mais vide, sans doute parce que pas encore traduit.
Il s'agit du widget "upsells" utilisé dans la plupart de mes templates single product.
Je vous remercie d'avance pour votre aide.

Bien à vous
Patrick

Hello Patrick,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

To reduce the waiting time, I took this ticket and responded in English. Please let me know if you're okay with it or want to continue the conversation in French. I'll check and forward the ticket to one of our French-speaking supporters to assist you further in the French language.

I have checked one of the Products and found that you're using the default Upsell widget of Elementor. When I checked the translation, I found that the Upsell products are showing properly for the translated product. Please check this screenshot: lien caché

Since the Upseel widget that you're using is the default widget, the translation support has already been added to it. To ensure the upsell product is visible on the translated product, it's crucial to also translate the products added as upsell in the original version. Once the Upsell products are translated, they will be appropriately displayed on the upsell section of the translated product.

So, please make sure that the products that you have added as upsell have also been translated and available in the secondary language of your site.

I hope you can understand. Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hello again

I thinbks it will be ok now. What I did: I edited the product above in Woocommerce and updated, without changing anything, and it seems to have helped.
If you can confirm me that what I did wat what has dobe done and that I have to do the same with all the products (around 100), I can do it but maybe you have a better idea that would help me save time 😉

Best regards
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
Thank you for the update.

I checked and noticed that the Upsell products are showing propperly with that product. The way you've done that is correct.

If the upsell products were translated after the main product, it's necessary to update the original product once more and then update its translation. This step ensures that the translated upsell products are accurately linked with the main translated product.

If you want, you can also bulk select the products and update them and in this way, the Upsell information will also be copied to the translation. To understand the process of Bulk selecting and updating products, please check this link: lien caché

You can also synchronize the products and that migh also help in solving the issue. Here's what you can do:

- Please go to WPML > Support > troubleshooting
- Select "Product" from the dropdown under "Cleanup" and click on the "Synchronize Post Taxonomies."

I hope the information above will help. Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi again

I tried the bulk edit and update for some products and what happened is the pencil has been replaced by a "need update" icon, as if had to update again.
What would you recommend me to do?

Kind regards
Patrick

Before making these changes, I had made a backup, which I restored to continue working on my site, so will not be able to see it anymore.

Cheers

Hi Patrick,

The Update icon signifies that changes have been made to the default product. To reflect these modifications in the translated version, you'll need to perform an update on the product. It's possible that updating the translation is essential for the Upsell product to be added correctly in the translated version.

To ensure the Upsell products are correctly displayed in the translated version, it would be better to update the product's translation. Additionally, as suggested in my previous message, synchronizing the products could help maintain proper synchronization of data between the original and translated versions.

I hope you can understand. Please feel free to let me know if there is anything else if you need help with. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi Patrick,

Thank you for understanding the matter.

Regarding your query about Bulk updating Translation - Unfortunately, it is not possible at the moment. The WooCommerce Multilingual plugin will keep the Bulk Update option disabled for the product translation to avoid disrupting the synchronization process.

But, if you're Automatically translating content, you can Bulk select products and send them for Automatic Translation. Please check this guide to understand the process: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatically-translating-multiple-translation-jobs-in-bulk/

Feel free to let me know if there is anything else you need help with. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi Prosenjit

Thanks you for your reply.
I didn't use the automatic translation that much. But ok, I know what to do now 🙂
Thank you for your help and have a great week end.
