[Cerrado] Dropdown language switcher not working in header (Elementor + WPML)

Antecedentes del problema:
We are trying to display the language switcher as a dropdown in our site header using the Elementor WPML widget and WPML's menu language switcher. We have verified that the 'Dropdown' style is selected in the Menu Language Switcher settings, and the Elementor WPML widget is configured with 'Custom', 'Show active language with dropdown', and flags/names enabled. We also tried adding it manually via shortcode and PHP action without success. The site is under development using the Hello Elementor theme with Astra, and we have cleared the cache (browser + server). There are no JS errors in the browser console. The site under development is enlace oculto. Síntomas:
The language switcher always appears as a horizontal list instead of a dropdown, despite selecting the 'Dropdown' style.

Is this a compatibility bug or rendering conflict with WPML and Elementor?
Why does the dropdown option not render despite following the documentation?
