[Geschlossen] Links in Übersetzung anpassen erzeugt offene Segmente
To reduce the waiting time, I took this ticket and responded in English. Please let me know if you're okay with it or if you want to continue the conversation in German language. I will check and forward this ticket to one of our German-speaking supporters to assist you in the German language.
The translation progress should only decrease when a translation is removed, so it's unusual for the progress to decrease after adding a link translation. If you've added inline links, please make sure to translate the link by clicking "Edit." Once you've completed the translation, click the "Save" button to save your changes, which will also close the segment. Please check this versteckter Link">screenshot for better understanding.
If you're still experiencing issues, please share the link to the page and the specific link whose translation is causing the translation progress to decrease. If you could make a video of the issue and share the video in next message, it would greatly help in better inderstanding the issue.
Additionally, you can also try by switching to the previous translation editor. Here's how you can do that.
– Go to the top right corner of the translation editor
– Click the gear icon
– Enable the option “Use the previous version of the Advanced Translation Editor.”
– Refresh the page and search for the link again. Then add the translation.
Let me know the update. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance.
English is totally fine as well and hands down: It's simply not working as I would expect it.
I have a segment with a couple of links, I edit the links and save the entries via ctrl + return or even via button and these get applied, all fine. Even everything is 100% green in the progress bar but I can't get the translation to commit and close.
At the end it worked out by saving the changes to translation memory, leaving the session and reopen the advanced translator, then clicking "Abschließen" works as expected.
No neckbreaker as initially thought due to the translation memory, still maybe something you could take a look into (I am using Brave browser btw). If there is anything else coming up, I will try using the former translation version 🙂
Please note that saving the translation memory is not necessary. The translation is saved simply by clicking the Save Translation button, even if the page contains multiple links.
However, if you switch to the previous translation editor, do you still encounter the issue? If so, you might have used a different approach to translate the page. Could you please check if you can replicate the issue on our sandbox using the same method you used on your site? The auto-login link to our sandbox is provided below:

WPML and its add-ons are already installed in the sandbox. You can add the content to a new page and then try translating it. Please check if the same issue occurs there. If it does, let me know the steps you took to replicate it. I'll check and guide you on the next steps.
Looking forward to your response and I'm always here to help!
Best regards,
Prosenjit
