The client is experiencing an issue where strings in the translation dashboard appear as "not completed" despite being translated into German. These strings show a green check mark for German, and there are no other languages involved.
Solution:
We explained that strings in WPML are global texts from plugins, themes, or widgets, and not tied to specific pages or posts. It's important to note that not all strings need to be translated unless they appear untranslated on the website's front end. WPML automatically detects new or updated strings, which can cause them to reappear as "not completed" due to dynamic text reloading by some plugins or themes. As long as the website appears correctly translated on the front end, these strings can be safely ignored.
