ho risolto il problema, grazie, ora vorrei capire per nella dashboard di wordpress mi esce che toolset è ancora installato e che non riesce a connettersi con il loro sito.
Io ho disistallato il toolset perchè non mi serve.

Quando entro nella pagina assistenza all'istallazione, vedo la foto 1.
se clicco su controlla ora, vedo foto 2.
se cambio pagina e dopo un minuto rientro, vedo ancora foto 1
sto diventando pazzo, il backoffice ci mette 85 secondi a caricare....
Per favore, non continuare ad aggiungere problemi che non sono correlati a questo della connessione, rispondo solo a quello altrimenti non si capisce nulla.
WPML invia solo un ping al giorno per controllare la licenza, se quando clicchi su "controlla ora" si connette allora non ci sono blocchi da parte nostra.
Chiedi all'hosting se ci sono dei firewall che possono impedire la connessione e in caso di mettere in whitelist questi domini

cloudfront.net
è una mia VPS e non ci sono firewall che bloccano, anche perchè su altri siti ospitati sullo stesso VPS WPML funziona, ho inserito i vs IP in whitelist, dove necessario.
se clicco verifica ora, la verifica fallisce, come da foto che ti ho mandato
