If you're experiencing issues after mistakenly putting your site into production mode and are concerned about losing changes when switching back to development mode, we have a solution for you. Solution:
First, visit your WPML.org account and navigate to the Sites section. Here, you should remove the old key that you were using on the other domain. Next, generate a new key for the domain you wish to use. After generating the new key, return to your website's backend, go to Plugins > Add new > Commercial, and register WPML with the new key. If necessary, click "Unregister" before registering the new key.
Rest assured, your translations are safely stored in the database, so you can remove the old key and add a new one without risking the loss of your translated content.

Problem: The client wants to translate the string in English, but the field is blocked as it is the original string language. Solution: We explained that the original language of a string is disabled by default because it is the original string language used by the developer of a theme/plugin or custom module. To change the source language of specific strings:
Select the strings in the String Translation interface.
Click on the 'Change language of selected strings' button.
Then, select the new language.
You can also change the source language of all strings in a domain to a language other than English. For more detailed steps, we provided documentation links:
Problem: The client is experiencing issues with WPML taking credit for every translation edition and is having difficulty understanding how to use the WPML plugin, including not finding the undo button. Solution: If you're experiencing issues with automatic deductions of translation credits when editing translations in the Advanced Translation Editor, you can click on the "Undo" button to prevent automatic translation. A popup will appear, allowing you to choose whether to translate content automatically in the future. For more details, please refer to our documentation on the Advanced Translation Editor.
If you've previously completed a translation and can't see the undo button, try creating a new page and translating it to view the button again. If you need further assistance or if this solution doesn't seem relevant to your issue, please open a new support ticket.
