I understand the issue you're facing. Please note that the theme you're using is currently not listed in WPML's compatible theme directory, which you can verify through this link. As a result, the problem you're experiencing could be related to a compatibility issue.

However, based on my research, it appears that listings created using the Listeo theme aren't stored under any standard post type. The listings need to be created directly within the core of the Listeo theme. Therefore, even if you translate the listing categories, you may still need to manually assign the translated categories to the listings by editing each listing in the respective language.

However, before drawing any conclusions, I’d like to ask if it would be possible for you to create a video showing how you’re creating the listings and adding the categories to the default listing. This will allow me to review your process and see if I can suggest a more efficient solution, rather than manually adding the translated categories.

Since the theme is not listed in our Compatible Directory, you might also consider reaching out to the theme author for assistance with multilingual support for the listings. They may be able to provide a better solution. Additionally, you can encourage them to join WPML’s Go-Global program to make the theme officially compatible with WPML.
