Welcome to WPML support. I will answer the question before the ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues.
Would you please check by creating a backup of the website and then test if OTGS plugin can be activated if you deactivate other plugins?
I ask for that as it might be a conflict going on.
Also I wonder if you can manually install WPML itself using this method:
- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Make sure you are signed in wpml.org.
- Go to https://wpml.org/account/downloads/
- Click the "Download WPML manually" link to show the rest of the plugins on the page.
- Download the latest version of the WPML and its add-ons.
- Install them manually on your website using the method below: https://wpml.org/faq/updating-wpml-manually/
Thank you for the tip about another plugin. I already had a WPML plugin installed and active. After I deactivated and deleted it, the installer worked. Best regards.
