This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where error messages in the 'site-reviews' plugin form input are always displayed in German, despite having completed translations with the translation manager.

Solution:
We have identified that the Site Reviews plugin is already translated into the languages of the client's website and does not require translation via String Translations. The problem was caused by the minification of JavaScript files from Site Reviews set up on WP-Optimize. To resolve this issue, we recommend the following steps:
1. Navigate to WPML > String-Übersetzung and filter all translated strings from Site Reviews. Select "Anzeigen: Übersetzung abgeschlossen" and "In Domain: site-reviews".
2. Delete all the translated strings by selecting them and clicking on "Ausgewählte Strings löschen". Ensure the filters are set correctly to avoid accidentally excluding other translations.
3. Go to WP-Optimize > Minimieren > JavaScript and exclude the JavaScript files from processing by adding the path

/wp-content/plugins/site-reviews/assets/scripts/*

in the "Exclude JavaScript from processing" field.
4. Save the modifications.
5. Clear the cache by clicking on Cache leeren > Cache für alle Seiten leeren and then Cache leeren > Minifizierungs-Cache leeren.

Hello.

I use the plugin "site-reviews" (Version: 6.11.4 - Author: Paul Ryley)

The error messages in the form input are always displayed in German only, although I have done the translations with the translation manager.

I have already contacted the plugin author, but this has not helped so far.

Can you perhaps help me to find the error?

Since this plugin is not 100% supported by us, I'd like to take a better look at your website. Could you please provide me access to a staging version of it? If you don't have any, please confirm that I can make a local copy to analyze it locally.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.

Hello Rolf,

After analyzing your website locally, I noticed a few important things:

1. The Site Reviews plugin is already translated to the languages of your website and doesn't need to be translated via String Translations
2. The issue was caused by the minification of JavaScript files from Site Reviews set up on WP-Optimize.

Here's what you can do to solve your problem (be sure to backup your website before doing the steps below):
1. Go to WPML > String-Übersetzung and filter all translated strings from Site Reviews. Choose "Anzeigen: Übersetzung abgeschlossen" and "In Domain: site-reviews".
2. Delete all the translated strings. Select all of them and click on "Ausgewählte Strings löschen". Be sure to set up the filters correctly, so you don't exclude any other translations accidentally.
3. Go to WP-Optimize > Minimieren > JavaScript and input the path below in the "Exclude JavaScript from processing":
/wp-content/plugins/site-reviews/assets/scripts/*
4. Save your modifications.
5. On the top-bar, click on Cache leeren > Cache für alle Seiten leeren and click on Cache leeren > Minifizierungs-Cache leeren;
