[Gelöst] translating footer widget

Background of the issue:
I am trying to get WPML to translate a footer widget that is on the appearance>>widgets page. The site is under development.

Symptoms:
I cannot translate the footer widget manually (it is only one phrase) and the widget does not show at all on the translated pages. There is also a 'read more' button I cannot translate.

Questions:
How can I get WPML to translate a footer widget on the appearance>>widgets page?
Why does the footer widget not show on the translated pages?
How can I translate the 'read more' button?
