Problem: The client is experiencing errors on both the front end and backend of their website when WPML plugins are active. Even after renaming the WPML plugins via FTP, the issues are not fully resolved, and the client is able to log in to the backend again. The client inquires if there is an issue with the most recent version of WPML and PHP 8.4.13. Solution: We resolved the problem by adjusting the 'Sidebar position' setting on the translated page. Originally, it was set to 'Right' on the translation, whereas it was 'Disabled' on the original page. We updated this setting using WPBakery Page Builder on the Dutch version of the page and ensured it was consistent with the original. Additionally, we enabled the 'Show ‘Multilingual Content Setup’ meta box on post edit screen' option in WPML → Settings → Custom Fields Translation. This setting helps display the custom fields on the page. We also set the relevant custom fields to 'Copy' to ensure that settings like Sidebar Position will automatically sync to translated pages in future translations.
