The client is experiencing issues with their website translations into Italian. Despite being translated, the pages either display in Spanish (the source language), a mix of both Italian and Spanish, or are empty. This problem affects all pages that have been translated into Italian.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to resolve the translation issues:
1. Increase the
MaxInputVars
in your PHP settings to 10000. For guidance on how to do this, please refer to this article. 2. Clear all types of caches, including server, browser, and plugin caches. 3. Open the Spanish page for editing and make a minor change in the content to refresh the translation settings. 4. Update the translation in WPML using the Advanced Translation Editor.
