PTC reads each page as a whole, applies the corrections you’ve already made to everything that follows, and produces publish-ready translations 99.5% of the time (measured in the PTC vs DeepL study). The legacy engines (DeepL, Google, Microsoft) translate one segment at a time without page-level context and don’t learn from your edits – manageable when a person reviews every translation, but not the level of trust whole-site, hands-off translation needs.

What It Covers

How to Turn Translate Everything Automatically on (or Off)
In your WordPress admin, go to WPMLTranslationsDashboard. The Translate Everything Automatically card at the top of the page carries the control.
When it’s off and PTC is your active engine, the card shows a Set up Translate Everything button. Clicking it opens a setup screen that shows the scope and the cost, lets you choose how WPML publishes the translations, and starts translating only when you confirm.
If your engine is DeepL, Google, or Microsoft, the card offers Switch to PTC. To start with your current engine instead, priced per word, click Turn on with DeepL (or your engine’s name).
When it’s on, open the three-dot menu on the card and pick Turn off Translate Everything. New content stops getting picked up; everything already translated stays translated. The same three-dot menu has Adjust content limits for capping how much WPML translates without asking.
