BuddyBoss - Issue Editing Group Title and Description from Profile Page in Secondary Language

Overview of the issue

When using BuddyBoss with WPML, editing a group’s title or description from the profile page in a secondary language saves the changes as if they were in the default language. This causes language data to be overwritten incorrectly.

Workaround

Do not edit a group in a secondary language from the frontend.

To edit the group title or description in a secondary language:

• Go to WPML → Translation Management and send the group string package for translation.
• Alternatively, you can edit the translation in WPML → String Translation.
