Hi there and welcome back.

I am sorry to hear about that, it is very strange. If after we are changing the theme and disabling plugins on the site, the front-end looks the same, there's definitely an issue that is 100% not related to WPML.

The front-end should look different instantly after the main theme and specific plugins that are in relation with the front-end design or functionality are disabled.

If you give me the approval to duplicate the site on a local testing environment, I am more than happy to continue with the debugging process and see if I can find any issues.

Regarding the question for a refund of translation credits, please take a look here:

Thank you for your extraordinary patience.

I am currently still investigating this matter, and unfortunately, I don’t have any updates at the moment. This process is taking longer than I initially expected.

If I don’t find a solution soon, I may need to escalate this issue to our developers for further assistance.

For now, I will keep the ticket assigned to myself, and I promise to reach out to you once I have more updates.

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding throughout this debugging process.

Hi,

This is Christopher filling in as Mihai is in sick leave at the moment.

Would you please kindly enable Armenia to your server list so I can also access the backend and investigate the issue?

I will quickly copy the website to our server to see if the same cache problem and the front end issue happens there or not.

Thanks.

Hi,

I managed to fix the issue. I went to WP Dashboard > Templates > Theme Builder and found out that there is a main template for the header there named:

Elementor Cabecera #40362

I then went to WP Dashboard > WPML > Translation Management and searched that name and found out that the item is there but it is not translated.

Selected that item and sent it for automatic translation.

Now it works:

Hello

ok, now the header does change language. But a part of the header is still not translated. And the footer is not translated either, even appearing in the translation manager as translated.

Hi,

There was other Elementor templates that were involved in the translation of the footer.

I went to WPML > Translation Management, from the top filter, I selected the second templates option, selected all the Elementor templates, and translated them automatically.

Now the Footer works:

Also, the top menu was actually not an elementary template, it was a WordPress menu called the top menu.

I went to WPML > String Translation, from the top domain Filter, selected the top menu and selected all those strings and send it to automatic translation.

Then I went to WPML > WP Menu Sync selected all the options and made sure that menu syncing was processed.

Now, if you check the website, it is working correctly and both header and footer and the top menu work as expected.

For more information about Elementor Template translation:

And the Menu translation:

Thanks.

Thanks.

Ok, I see that the templates are translated.
Thank you very much!

I have a question.
When I use the English or French menu, it takes me to Spanish links even if the target pages are already translated.

How do I make sure that each language has its own links (/en /fr)?

Hi,

As the original issue with the header and footer translation is fixed I'd appreciate it if you could set this ticket as resolved.

I will open up another ticket for you to check the links for the menus. I see that you use mega menus so I need to investigate how it is created to see what should be done.

This will help us to be organized and it will be fair to our other customers.

Thanks.

Ok
I mark this as solved
Please send an email with the link to the new ticket.
The links do not go to translated pages neither from megamenu nor from buttons.
