Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with the WPML plugin not connecting to wpml.org after moving your site to a different domain and registering the new domain, and you're unsure where to enter the registration key in WordPress.
Solution:
1. Navigate to WPML → Support and click on Installer Support. Share the last few log messages with us to help diagnose the issue.
2. To clear any notices, go to Dashboard → Updates and click the 'Check again' button.
3. Go to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial on your website and click the 'unregister' link.
4. Visit https://wpml.org/account/sites/ and delete the existing site key.
5. Return to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial on your website and click the 'register' link.

Problem:
The client is trying to translate the address displayed in the footer of their website to show a different address for pages in German (in the /de-directory).

Solution:
1. We recommend going to WPML > String Translation and at the bottom of the page, find and enable the checkbox called "Look for strings while pages are rendered". Then, visit the front-end page where the string appears and return to WPML > String Translation to search for the string.

2. If the string is not found in WPML > String Translation, it might be registered as an admin text. Follow the process outlined in our documentation to find and translate admin text strings: Finding strings that don’t appear on the String Translation page.
