Hello, attached you can find screenshots of the issue. EN is right – DE is in a different „wrong“ layout. The issue occurs on all german pages: versteckter Link English ones look good: versteckter Link I already was in contact with the Elementor Pro Support, they told me the following: "In this case, your translation plugin (WPML) is changing how your texts are displayed. In the native language of your site, you can see that the Elementor widget will output the text without any other wrapping HTML tag than a <div> one. However, in the secondary language, you'll notice that the translated text will be wrapped on a <p> (paragraph) tag, and your third-party theme is applying a custom style (margin-bottom: 20px) on the <p> tags. I apologize; however, custom code/CSS, general WordPress issues, Beta testings, server issues, or third-party plugins/themes-related issues are out of our support scope: versteckter Link Please reach out to the WPML team so they can assist you with why the translated texts are getting wrapped on a <p> tag when they're not supposed to." Hi, Thank you for contacting the support forum. It seems to be a known issue. Could you please try the following workaround? 1. Make sure you have a complete backup of site files and database. add_filter( 'widget_block_content', [ $this, 'filterByLanguage' ], - PHP_INT_MAX, 1 ); with add_filter( 'widget_block_content', [ $this, 'filterByLanguage' ], 0 ); 3. Then update the original page and translate again. If this is the same problem then it should fix this issue. This problem will be fixed in the next release of WPML. Thanks |

Hey there, Thank you for providing the website credentials. The Elementor support team mentioned about a possible issue with the theme. By chance, have you tried to switch it to a default one (like twenty twenty) and check if the issue remains? Further, do you allow us to migrate the website to a copy version hosted on our servers? In order to make more tests without compromising the original website. Please keep us posted. Thanks! |

Hi, as we currently do not have a test environment yet, I did not change the theme because I didn't want to destroy the page. Yes, please go on and copy in order to make more tests. Thank you very much! |

Hey there, Thanks for your confirmation. We have copied the website to our Cloudways servers, please check it: versteckter Link (you can login using the same credentials as the original website). You'll see that the blue bar on the German version is fitting well on the screen, and this is due to the theme change. In the CW app we have switched it to a default theme - after this, the issue does not happen anymore. Having said that, we can conclude that the problem is coming from the OceanWP theme, and not WPML. In this case, may I kindly ask you to contact the theme support and address the issue with them? I'm afraid that they'll be more able to spot the issue and check what might be the conflict. Thanks for your understanding. |
