Background of the issue:
We installed ElasticPress. I am trying to search in the second language page on my WordPress site.

Symptoms:
When using ElasticPress, the translated search page doesn't show results. I expected to see output on the search page, but instead, I got 'Nothing was found'.

Questions:
Why doesn't the translated search page show results when using ElasticPress?
How can I get the expected output on the search page in the second language?
Note: We already installed and activated "WPML ElasticPress" plugin and enabled the integration in ElasticPress plugin

Hi,

I'll continue to help you with this issue.

Please go to WPML -> Languages -> Language filtering for AJAX operations. If the option 'Store a language cookie to support language filtering for AJAX' is unselected, please select it and click the Save button. Then, please check if it helps.

Furthermore, please update WPML to its latest version to check if it helps to fix the problem. We've just released WPML version 4.7.5.

Besides, we cannot access your site, and the details you gave us are not working. We're getting: ERROR: The username or password you entered is incorrect. Please see the attached screenshot.

Also, please share your site's Debug information if you need further help with this issue. You can read about it here.

Hi, and thanks for the access details.

The access details work this time. However, you gave us access with very restricted user privileges. We can only see ElasticPress and WPML admin menu items. And even for WPML, we can access all the areas we need to access. Please see the attached screenshot. We MUST have access with full admin privileges. Please change our user to be an administrator with all the privileges.

Please note that my weekend is Friday-Saturday, and I'll be able to continue to check this issue and help you on Sunday.

Regards,
Itamar.
