Questo thread è stato risolto. Ecco una descrizione del problema e della soluzione.
Problem:
If you're experiencing issues where widgets provided by your theme are not translatable because the theme lacks a
wpml-config.xml
file or an internal "Custom XML Configuration" that tells WPML which attributes of each shortcode should appear in the Translation Editor.
Solution:
1. Manually add the XML configuration. See the example for the 'title' attribute below:
<wpml-config><shortcodes><shortcode><tag>edgtf_section_title</tag><attributes><attribute encoding="allow_html_tags">title</attribute></attributes></shortcode></shortcodes></wpml-config>
2. Alternatively, ask the theme developer to include a complete
wpml-config.xml
file so that all widgets will be automatically recognized by WPML.
Follow this documentation for more details: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/maintaining-wpbakery-page-builder-compatibility-with-wpml/
Once you have defined the file or entered the configuration in WPML → Settings → Custom XML Configuration, the relevant fields will immediately appear in the Translation Editor, allowing you to translate them without issues.
Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
