How to translate Hongo Theme footer added with the section builder.

Solution:

- Go to "WPML > Settings > Custom XML Configuration (Tab)".

- Add the code below:

- Go to "Section Builder > Add New".

- Add a new Footer using the builder and name it English Footer.

- In the screen of the Section Builder disable the Use WPML's Translation Editor option.

- On the pop up choose This Section Builder.

- Click the + or pencil icon there for the other language translation.

- You will be redirected to the other language version and you can either add the footer from scratch or copy it from the original language by clicking the Copy content from ... button.

- From the address bar of your browser check the URL when you are in the second language of the Section Builder and write down the post ID for later use. For our example, it was 25.

- Go to "Appearance > Customize > Header and Footer > Footer > Footer Section" and select the English Footer and publish the settings.

- Go to "WPML > String Translation > admin_texts_theme_mods_hongo" and translate the page ID there.

For example the current page ID there is 20 for English. We need to add 25 (The one that we wrote down) here for Spanish.

Problem:
I'm using this method https://wisdmlabs.com/blog/add-taxonomy-term-custom-post-permalinks-wordpress/ to create a CPT, my custom taxonomy and a rewrite rule to add taxonomy terms to my permalink structure. I'm trying to translate my Custom post type slug using WPML. I have already translated the content of the slug using WPML, but I have got a 404 error.

Solution:
This would require some custom rewrite rules via "add_rewrite_rule".

The client found an alternative workaround using a plugin called "Permalink Manager Lite":

Problem:
French Canadian pricing uses he dollar sign after the number i.e. 22.00$ not $22.00

Is there an easy way to accommodate this for the translated side of the site?

Solution:
To configure the currency for the secondary language of your website please follow these steps:

- Navigate to WooCommerce -> WooCommerce Multilingual -> Multi-currency tab
- Enable the multi-currency mode if it's not enabled already and click on 'Add currency'
- Select 'Canadian Dollar' and pick an exchange rate for it
- Mark the Currency position as 'Right' and save it
- Finally, please enable the new added currency to the desired language and click on 'Save changes' at the bottom of the page

Now, when users switch to the secondary language, they'll see the new currency you created.

Additionally, you can check about adding a currency switcher.

With this option you are able to switch currencies without even having to access the translated version of your website.

Problem:
here was a problem that happened when you tried to link WooCommerce categories using URL by parameters using the text UX Builder shortcode and you used Sticky links.

It seems to happen only when you link child categories in WooCommerce. and the result is that from a link like this:

https://test.pcpclothing.com/product-category/women/clothing/?lang=en (correct)
You’d end up with something like this as soon as sticky links was activated:

https://test.pcpclothing.com/product-category/women/?lang=en&clothing= (incorrect)

Divi author Bio not showing translation

This may be included in a recent Divi udpate. I tested in the version I was using and it had not yet been resolved. Please try this:

Problem:

Divi body content is not showing in the Translation Editor.

Solution:

By adding a small change, like adding a dot, to the original language page and then updating it, and then going to the Translation Editor, I could fix this issue.
