Problem:
The client was charged on February 17, 2026, for WPML-ATE but could not find the invoice in their WPML account under 'Payment history and invoices'. Additionally, the client requested information on how to disable automatic payments for their account.
Solution:
1. We verified the transaction details provided by the client and located the missing invoice. We then sent the invoice directly to the client's email.
2. To manage automatic payments:
- Access the WPML backend at WPML.org, navigate to 'WPML' > 'Translation Dashboard' > 'Translation Tools' and select the appropriate tab for payment information.
- To cancel automatic payments, visit how to stop paying as you go.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If needed, do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Can you please share with us the last 4 digits of the credit card where the charge took place so I can locate the transaction?

Hi there.

Sorry but I cannot locate any ATE transaction for the card ending in those digits with that specific amount and date you mentioned. I also tried to see if there's any WPML subscription charge for that information and I also couldn't find any.

Can you please double check and make sure those are the correct credit card last four digits?

Can you also attach any other proof of this payment - eg. a bank transaction statement, a screenshot of any email you might have received from us regarding this specific charge etc.

Any extra information will help us locate this transaction.

Thank you for your assistance. I would like to clarify two points regarding the recent charges:

1. Could you please confirm to which email address the invoice(s) were sent? We have not received them and want to ensure they are being delivered correctly.

2. We have noticed a charge made to a credit card that we did not authorize for automatic payments. Could you please advise how we can disable automatic payments for our account? We would like to ensure that any future translation charges require manual confirmation and that the card is requested before processing any payment.

Hi there.

1. The pay-as-you-go billing information (including the payment method used) is added in the website backend > WPML > Translation Dashboard > Translation Tools > the proper tab for payment info.

I can see you have many client websites, so the invoices for each site should be sent to the email address configured in the site's backend.

2. As long as there's an active pay-as-you-go subscription for a site, and as long as there are translations being made, translation credits are used, for which you will pay on the 3rd of the next month, as explained here:

You can cancel the pay-as-you-go subscription for the sites where you don't want to use automatic translation:
