Paying for automatic translation as you go allows you to translate your content, then pay for your translations at the end of the month. Your first 2,000 credits are free each month, and you’re only ever charged for the credits you actually use.
Paying-as-you-go for automatic translation is the most affordable and flexible way to translate your site. To sign up, you don’t need access to the WPML.org account. Any user set up as a Translation Manager on the site can sign up directly without having to go through a site developer.
To start paying as you go, go to WPML → Translation Management and click the Automatic Translation tab to activate it. Simply add a credit card and start translating!

WPML does not store your credit card information. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
If you manage more than one multilingual site, you can pay as you go across all your registered sites. This allows you to share your automatic translation credits, glossary, and translation memory between multiple sites, including sub-sites in the same multisite setup.
You are not bound by a contract and can stop paying as you go anytime.
Go to WPML → Translation Management and click the Automatic Translation tab. Click the Payment & Settings button, and then the Stop paying as you go link.
You’ll receive a final bill for any credits you have used since your last invoice.
