Rayane Dourado

As a brazilian, I speak Portuguese fluently and I learned English by the age of thirteen. I started translating for local community projects at that same age and at seventeen I started my studies at the Goiás State University (Universidade Estadual do Goiás/UEG) in the field of English and Portuguese studies, in a major that allows me to both teach and translate in both languages. In my major, I also study literature and that has helped me have not only a technical understanding of the languages, but a much more nuanced, contextual and social one too.
