WPML 4.6.14, our new compatible version for WordPress 6.7, is now available for download.

Important Compatibility Fixes for WordPress 6.7

WordPress 6.7 introduces several useful updates, but it also requires adjustments in themes and plugins to maintain compatibility.

While not critical, these issues introduced by WordPress 6.7 could interrupt your translation workflow and affect usability:

  • Untranslated WordPress Admin Texts
When viewing the WordPress admin in a different language, some user interface texts may appear untranslated.
  • PHP Error Notices
If you have wp_debug enabled, you may see PHP error notices in the WordPress admin dashboard.

WPML 4.6.14 keeps your site compatible with WordPress 6.7 and protects you against these issues. We recommend installing WPML 4.6.14 before updating to WordPress 6.7 to ensure your site works correctly.

What’s New in WPML 4.6.14

In addition to the key compatibility updates, WPML 4.6.14 also includes several fixes and enhancements to ensure an even better multilingual experience:

  • We removed the WPML Languages section from the Patterns editing screen.
  • You can now translate Patterns via WPML Translation Management

Compatibility Fixes

  • Fixed an interface issue for WPML Languages section in Divi builder.
  • Fixed issue with caching in Elementor.

Additional Fixes

  • WPML now hides unnecessary warning messages on the front and back-end.
  • Fixed a bug causing untranslated strings to appear in secondary languages.
  • Fixed an issue with automatically syncing taxonomies from original to secondary language when translating with the native WordPress editor.

How to Update to WPML 4.6.14

  2. Go to Plugins Add New and click the Commercial tab.
  3. Click the Check for updates button.

    • Hello Christos,

No, this version remains incompatible with the Breakdance builder. Our team is interested in improving compatibility, but need a collaboration from the Breakdance team to make this happen.

To push this forward, you can contact the Breakdance team and make a compatibility request: https://breakdance.com/support/

  1. Due to automatic wordpress updates we could not update wpml first. Some Plugins are no longer translated (e.g. Woocommerce). What can I do to make it work normally again?

    • Hi Max,

You can fix this by updating to the new WPML version:

      1. Go to Plugins → Add New and click the Commercial tab.
      2. Click the Check for updates button.
      3. Download all the WPML components with a new version available (appear in red).

Updating WPML should bring back the translations. If this doesn’t help, please open a ticket in our Support forum so that we can help you: https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/
