Known issue

Problem:
You are trying to use WPML with WooCommerce to translate the 'add a coupon' string on your site, but WPML is unable to retrieve this string from WooCommerce despite multiple attempts to scan plugins and themes.
Solution:
This is a known issue which was reported here:https://wpml.org/errata/woocommerce-multilingual-cart-page-strings-not-translated-when-using-blocks/

1. Currently, WooCommerce Blocks are not fully compatible with WPML, which might be causing the issue with string retrieval. We recommend using traditional WooCommerce shortcodes instead.
2. Replace the WooCommerce Blocks on your cart page with the following shortcode in a Shortcode Block:

[woocommerce_cart]

3. Set this new page as your WooCommerce Cart page.
4. Attempt to locate and translate the cart's strings using WPML > String Translation.
5. For further details on using WooCommerce shortcodes, you can visit WooCommerce Shortcodes Documentation.
6. If you are using a custom language, ensure that it is supported or consider using a standard language code.

Problem:
The client installed WPML on an event site with Norwegian as the default language. When switching to English using the flag icon, the language initially changes, but navigating to a subpage causes the site to revert back to Norwegian.
Solution:
We identified that the issue was related to the Kadence Advanced Button block, where internal links were not automatically updating to the correct language. To resolve this, we added custom XML configuration in

WPML > Settings > Custom XML Configuration

to register the block for translation. After updating the translation, the links functioned correctly in English. For further details on translating links and attributes, refer to the guide on how to translate URLs, shortcodes, and HTML attributes using the Advanced Translation Editor.

Problem:
You have a front page in English and its translation in French, both designed with Elementor. After updating the design on the English page, the French page does not reflect these updates, resulting in a different appearance.
Solution:
This issue is related to Elementor caching. We recommend you re-translate the homepage's content and disable the caching feature in Elementor. Here are the steps:
1. Re-translate the content of your homepage.
2. Go to Elementor > Settings > Features.
3. Disable the 'Element Caching' option.
