Problem:
The client moved their website from a subdomain marked as a developer site to the main domain and encountered an issue where the footer still displayed a message indicating it was a development site, despite attempts to uninstall/reinstall WPML and update the site key.
Solution:
We recommend deleting the previously registered site from your WPML account under 'Your Registered Sites'. Then, re-register the domain directly from the WordPress backend on the WPML Support page. If this does not resolve the issue, please go to WPML > Support > Installer Support and click on 'Check now' on the following screen. Should the problem persist, consider sending a screenshot of the results to further assist you.
