WPML lets you set the same theme options across all languages on your Avada website, or different options for each language.
Avada Theme Options on Mutilingual Sites
It often makes sense to have different options per language, so you can adjust details like the layout, colors, date formats, and other.
Avada generates a different set of options per language and WPML syncronises them no matter how you decide to edit or translate them.
If you edit your Avada options in a secondary language and change one of the translatable texts, WPML will update its stored translation. Likewise, if you edit your translations in WPML, the new translation will be saved for Avada options in the correct language.
Translating Avada Theme Options that Include Texts
Some Avada options include text that is displayed on the frontend, like the Footer Content, Contact Info, some Maintenance Mode messages, and other.
You can translate these texts just like any other string, from the WPML’s Translation Dashboard:
Go to the Translation Dashboard and scroll down to the Other texts (Strings) section.
Use the search field to find the frontend texts coming from the Avada options you want to translate.
Select the strings and send them for translation.

If you can’t find some of the strings coming from the Avada theme options, please report this to our support. We will work with the Avada team to make sure all theme options are visible to WPML.
Use Different Theme Options for Each Language
To set different theme options for each language on your Avada website:
1. Go to Avada → Options. 2. Choose the language you want to apply theme options to.

3. Set your theme options and click Save Changes. Theme options will only apply to the language you selected.
Use The Same Theme Options for All Languages
You can also set the same theme options for all languages in one go.
If you already translated some texts coming from Avada theme options, those translations will be lost if you then decide to set the options for all languages.
To set theme options for all languages at once:
1. Go to Avada → Options. 2. Set the language switcher in the admin bar to All languages.

3. Set your theme options. When done, click Save Changes.
All your languages now share the same theme options.
How to Import Theme Options From one Language to Another
Importing theme options means ‘copying’ settings from one language and ‘pasting’ them in a different one.
When you import options to the selected language, any previous translations of those options will be lost. The options you import will overwrite the previous ones for that language.
To import theme options from one language to another:
1. Set the language switcher in the top admin bar to the language you want to import settings from. 2. Go to the Avada → Options and select Import / Export from the menu (located at the bottom) 3. Click the Copy Data button, then select and copy the theme options settings.
