Reported for: WPML Multilingual CMS 4.6.6

Topic Tags: ATE

Overview of the issue

When translating content automatically using DeepL within the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE), glossary items containing trademark symbols (Unicode characters) may not be translated accurately.
For instance, the French trademark symbol (ᴹᴰ) is not converted to the corresponding English symbol (®).

Workaround

This is a DeepL limitation and we are in contact with their team but there is no immediate workaround available. We recommend you to manually proofread and correct the translations of glossary items with trademark symbols or any other Unicode character after automatic translation.
