Overview of the issue

If you are using Avada theme, you may encounter an issue where the portfolio tag filter in secondary languages displays only a limited number of tags compared to other languages.

Workaround

Please, make sure of having a full backup of your site before proceeding.

  • Open …/wp-content/themes/Avada/includes/lib/inc/class-fusion-multilingual.php file.
  • Look for the map_terms() method.
  • Replace:
    				$translated_id   = apply_filters( 'wpml_object_id', $term->term_id, $cpt, true );

  • With:
    				$translated_id   = apply_filters( 'wpml_object_id', $term->term_id, $taxonomy, true );
