Overview of the issue
At this time, WPML plugins do not support Composer installation natively, and there is no official method to fetch the latest WPML versions automatically through Composer.
However, we acknowledge this is an important feature for many advanced WordPress development workflows and continue to evaluate it for a future release.
Workaround
Our development team is actively evaluating the possibility of officially supporting Composer-based installations in the future, and we may include it in our roadmap depending on feasibility and demand.
