Disabling "I Prefer Bigger Segments" is not working properly

Overview of the issue

Disabling the “I prefer bigger segments” option in the Advanced Translation Editor does not divide the text into smaller segments as expected.

Despite disabling this option, the text is sometimes still treated as a single segment or a “bigger segment”.

Workaround

To temporarily resolve this issue please:

– Go to the top right corner of the translation editor
– Click the gear icon
– Enable the option “Use the previous version of the Advanced Translation Editor.”
– Refresh the page and search for the attribute again.
