Untranslated Slugs do not save in the Advanced Translation Editor

Overview of the issue

When translating post slugs for the first time in ATE, the changes are not reflected on the front end until the page is re-edited and the Complete button is pressed again without further modifications. This behavior is currently expected due to how slug content is handled in the translation memory.

Workaround

• Use automatic translation option from WPML > Translation Management

Alternatively:

• Edit the page via WPML > Translations and make sure you save the segment containing the slug.
