Problem:

I found this being triggered when sending jobs:
WordPress database error Unknown column 'uuid' in 'field list' for query INSERT INTO `wp_tw_icl_translation_status`,,,
Meaning that "uuid" was missing from "wp_tw_icl_translation_status" table, so I ran this query to add this column:
ALTER TABLE `wp_tw_icl_translation_status` ADD `uuid` VARCHAR(36) CHARACTER SET utf8mb4 COLLATE utf8mb4_unicode_ci NULL DEFAULT NULL AFTER `_prevstate`;
After this, jobs went through and I can see jobs in Translations tab
Problem: Add variations to seconde language product only.
Solution: That's not possible with WPML. The basic concept is that WPML acts just as a translation mechanism for your WordPress content. In terms of products, you're selling essentially the same product across different languages, the product has the same features, stock, variations, etc.
What you can do is to create the product in the second language but not as a translation, so it will be a new separate product.
