mentre nella sezione acquisto leggo questo:
WPML funziona con le versioni 3.0 e superiori di WordPress.
Lo posso insttalare con la mia versione?

Ma è sempre consigliabile attenersi alla versione più recente di WordPress e WPML. Se avete altre domande tecniche rivolgersi al nostro forum di supporto.
Buongiorno, stiamo testando alcuni plugin wordpress multilingua per un sito in sviluppo.
Il sito in questione una un template acquistato di nome shopsy e woocommerce.
Un plugin multilingua che stiamo usando ora (che sembra avere la medesiama logica del vostro) dà problemi di integrazione col tema, per l’esattezza da pannello di controllo non carica la galleria delle immagini (ad esempio quando si deve impostare una immagine in evidenza).
Il vostro prodotto è esente da questo conflitto?
Nel caso ne risultasse afflitto potremmo avere il rimborso?

WPML funziona bene con le immagini WordPress regolari, dotate di icone e gallerie WordPress.

abbiamo acquistato e installato il plugin ma la situazione è peggiorata.
Addirittura adesso non è possibile accedere al pannello di controllo!
Se elimino WPML o cambio il tema (Shopsy) ricomincia tutto a funzionare orrettamente altrimenti il pannello di controllo (wp-admin per capirsi) è una schermata bianca vuota.
Come posso comportarmi?

Alcuni consigli da parte mia:
1. Se si finisce con uno schermo total white a causa di un plugin, una soluzione nota è quello di ftp nella cartella del plugin e cambiare il nome del plugin causando errori. WordPress disattiverà automaticamente.
2. Per assicurarsi se il tuo problema è il tema (e non WPML correlati), provate a passare a un WordPress tema di default (Twenty Eleven per esempio) e vedere se vi lavorano.
Ma la gente di sostegno WPML sono le persone giuste da porre ulteriori domande in un caso del genere.
infatti avevamo provato a cambiare tema ed il plugin funzionava correttamente.
Ma lo abbiamo acquistato proprio per provlemi di compatibilità di apltri plugin con shopsy
Abbiamo risolto, era un problema di memoria del servere.

But if you would like to have permanent access to updates and support, you can always consider to upgrade to life time license by paying only the difference. You will find a relevant option to upgrade to lifetime in your WPML account.

Hello, before buying the subscription i’d like to know if the string translation is able to translate/recognize parts from an installed template.
Let me explain: I have some parts of the site (like contacts page, homepage, modules) that aren’t widgets, as they are built inside the theme options.
For example my contacts page is an empty wordpress page that uses the Contacts_template from the theme. In the themes options i have the contacts section, where I write the code for the contacts page.
Will I be able to translate that parts? Is that clear?

To make your theme options compatible with WPML it will usually require the presence of so called wpml-config.xml file. They are provided with some themes, especially when your theme is in our theme compatibility list. If such a file is not available, you can give it a try and create it yourself:

no worries, you will not loose your translations. Even if you will have to buy your WPML anew.
If the email address WPML-was-purchased-with is yours, you can use this password recovery link:

If it was not yours and there is no way to ask the previous owner to change it the WPML account setting for you, you should buy your own license. But your translation will not be lost. They are stored in your WordPress database. You might ask our supporters for their help if you have problems with updating.

io sinceramente devo confessare che non riesco a capire se il vostro plugin è un traduttore nel senso che traduce al posto mio oppure è semplicemente un utile strumento per gestire la mia stessa (o di altri, collaboratori o traduttori professionisti per esempio) traduzione delle pagine.
In altri termini a parte la traduzione a pagamento, il plug in traduce a mio posto e automaticamente come potrebbe fare google translator? E se si con che margine di errore?
Scusate ma non è chiaro affatto dal sito.

È seconda opzione è vero: è un modo utile per gestire le proprie traduzioni. WPML non si traduce automaticamente.

Sì, se si acquista la licenza CMS è necessario rinnovarlo dopo un anno. Se non lo farai, WPML continuerà a funzionare, ma non avrà accesso ad aggiornamenti e supporto forum.
È possibile acquistare (o aggiornare) licenza a vita. Non ci sono pagamenti supplementari in questo caso.
Quindi se non rinnovo posso continuare ad usarlo senza limitazioni, ma non avrò aggiornamenti e assistenza..

Le operazioni per le stringhe si sta chiedendo dovrebbero essere forniti insieme wooCommerce plug-in cosiddetti file di lingua po / mo.
Così vogliate controllano plug wooCommerce e la sua sottodirectory della lingua. Italiano è una lingua conosciuta quindi non ci dovrebbero essere file di traduzione per italiano.
Se ci sono delle stringhe tema specifico della traduzione dovrebbe essere fornito insieme con il vostro tema. Nel caso in cui non ci sono, sarete in grado di inserire da soli attraverso WPML admin.
Per usare WPML insieme wooCommerce è necessaria la versione del CMS.
