Problem: If you're experiencing a popup warning during page editing that indicates translation generation is in progress, and you haven't ordered or started any automatic translations, you might be looking for a way to turn it off. Solution: This warning appears when the translation of a page has been initiated, which can happen by simply clicking on the "+" icon and then exiting. To remove this warning and prevent it from showing again: 1. Check the box "Don't show this warning again". 2. Click on "I understand, continue editing". If the translation is complete, as it might appear in the pink rectangle in your screenshot, you can: 1. Go to WPML > Settings. 2. Check your settings to decide what should be done with automatic translations once they are finished. For more details, you can refer to our documentation on automatic translation. Additionally, you can complete a specific translation by visiting it and clicking on "Complete" at the bottom once the progress bar is at 100%.
Problem: The client needs to synchronize changes made on the homepage in the main language (Lithuanian) with the other language versions of the site. Solution: If you're using a WPML-compatible theme and the WPML editor for translations, you'll need to re-translate the page to synchronize the changes across different language versions. If you're updating content manually, you will also need to apply these changes manually to the pages in the other languages.
Problem: The client is trying to register WPML but receives an error message 'Unable to register: Site key not matching'. The client has followed steps from a forum topic but the issue persists, and the WPML option is not visible in the sidebar because the plugin is not registered. Solution: 1. We asked the client to provide WPML Debug information by following the instructions here: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/. 2. We suggested that the issue might be related to the use of the OTGS installer and provided the following steps: - Disable the OTGS installer and create a full website backup. - Download the WPML plugin manually from https://wpml.org/account/downloads/ by clicking the button at the bottom of the page. - Navigate to the website's backend > Plugins > Add new > Upload plugin, then upload the zip file, install, and activate WPML.
