Problem:
The client is unable to register WPML on their WordPress site after switching to production and generating a new key, receiving an error that the site key does not match.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps:
1. Visit https://wpml.org/account/sites/ and locate your website's row. Click the trash icon to delete it. This action won't affect your translations or WPML usage.
2. Ensure you are logged into wpml.org.
3. Navigate to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Commercial (Tab)".
4. Click "Unregister WPML"; your translations will remain safe.
5. Then, click "Register WPML" and "Get a key for this site". A new page will open, and the auto-generated key will appear in a pop-up.
6. Copy this key and paste it into the "Site Key" input box.
7. Click the "OK" button.
