WPML lets you choose which of your site’s translators can use automatic translation on your WordPress site.

By default, WPML gives Administrator, Translation Manager, and Translator user roles the ability to translate content automatically.

You cannot remove this access for Administrator and Translation Manager roles. But, you can select which translators can use automatic translation on your site’s content.

To manage who can use automatic translation:

  1. Go to WPML → Translation Management and click on the Tools tab.
  2. Expand the Who can use automatic translation? section and turn off the ability to use automatic translation for the users of your choice.

Missing Access to Automatic Translation?

The capability to use automatic translation is set by the site’s Administrator or Translation Manager. If you’re a translator and automatic translation is not available to you, please reach out to them directly to discuss your access needs.
