Overview of the issue

WPML String Translation can display the following error notice:

  • “We have detected a problem with some tables in the database. Please contact WPML support to get this fixed.”

We found some edge cases where this is a false positive message.

This will be fixed in the next WPML String Translation release.

Meanwhile, and before contacting our support, you can verify if this is a false positive:

  1. Write down the string mentioned in the value element of the Array.
  2. Go to the WPML -> String Translation page.
  3. Search for that string.

If you manage to find the string with the same “context”, “gettext_context” and “name”, the notice is a false alarm and you can dismiss it.

    • Hi @joseviC,

Did you check it this is a false positive? Could you find the string “Recent Comments” in WPML > String Translation?

If not, please open a ticket on the support forum.

      Thanks,
      Pierre

    • Hi @giancarloC-3,

If you performed the verification that we suggested in the description and you still can’t see the string, I suggest opening a ticket on the support forum.

      Thanks,
      Pierre
