PHP Warning: file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect warning possible with current String Translation

Overview of the issue

Some sites combining WordPress 6.7 and String Translation versions 3.2.16 or 3.2.17 may encounter the following PHP warning:

PHP Warning: file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect

The problem may occur where open_basedir directives are operative and where path names include the string “mo”, as might occur with a domain “slowmotion.com” for example.

Workaround
