4. Auto-registering strings for translation
Go to the WPML -> String Translation page and scroll down to the Auto register strings for translation section. Click the Edit button and make sure that all text domains are selected. --- ---Excluding any text domains can lead to performance issues as WPML would need to load the .mo files.

The text domain is a unique identifier WordPress uses to distinguish between all the loaded translation, every theme/plugin in WordPress should have a unique text domain in order to make it possible the WordPress localization functions to work properly.
