Problem: The client manually translated English menus into traditional Chinese and is seeking guidance on how to proceed with WP Menu Sync, especially for menus that are not fully translated or have content available only in certain languages. The client also encountered issues with deleting menus and synchronizing them across different languages.
Problem: The client was facing an issue where the Titles and Subtitles on the Team Page were not translating correctly after translating the page into Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese. The changes made in the Traditional Chinese page Titles and Subheadlines were reverting to English. Additionally, the client was confused about whether to translate pages first or to use string translation, and was concerned about potential duplication in translations.
We also clarified that strings from page builders might appear in both the Translation Editor and String Translation, but there is no need to translate them twice. The Translation Editor should be used first, and if the strings are not available there, then String Translation should be used. We suggested testing by translating the same string in both places with different translations to see which one takes precedence, although the Translation Editor's translation should take precedence.

My question is, do I need to wait for the Vietnamese reviewer to finish their review before initiating a new translation?
And as the Translation Manager, do I have to start the new translation process myself?

If the reviewed jobs are not published yet you can cancel them and then resend them to translation. Please read about it in our guide on How To Review Automatic Translations On Your Site.
