Solution:
Hi There, To reduce the waiting time, I took this ticket and responded in English. Please let me know if you're okay with it or want to continue the conversation in German language. I will check and forward the ticket to one of our German supporters to assist you in the German language. I understand that you're having issues updating the stock information of the product. Since you're encountering a fatal error when updating from the product editor, it's possible that the stock update process is being interrupted by another process or is conflicting with a third-party plugin on your site. As first step to debug the issue, will you please try running a plugin conflict test on your site? - Please take a backup of your site. In this way, you'll be able to identify what exactly causing the issue. But, if the issue persists even after that, please enable WordPress debug on your site by following this guide and try updating the stock again. Details about the error should be logged in the debug log file if the issue occurs again. Please copy the detailed error log and share it in your next response. I will check it and let you know what to do next. Looking forward to your response. Best regards, |

Hi There, May I kindly ask if you have checked the issue by keeping only WPML, String Translation, WooCommerce, and WooCommerce Multilingual activated on your site? If you deactivate all plugins, including WPML, it won't be possible to trace what exactly is conflicting with WPML. As you mentioned, activating the WPML plugin combines the default and translated products into one list, which suggests that the language and translation information is not properly added to the products. The WPML plugin will correctly add the language information to the products, ensuring they are displayed correctly in each language. Please open the products and check if the language information is properly added. Also, ensure that the default and translated products are correctly connected. You can refer to this guide to understand the process. It is also important to make sure that the WooCommerce multilingual plugin is configured correctly on your site. If the issue persists even after ensuring that everything is configured correctly, please let me know. I will take a closer look and be happy to assist you further in this matter. Best regards, |

Thank you for the update. Since the issue persists even with a minimal number of plugins, a closer inspection will be required to understand the root cause of the issue. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. You will find the needed fields below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it. Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you. IMPORTANT Looking forward to your response. Best Regards, |

Hi, Thank you for sharing the access information. The credentials worked. When I tried to update the stock status, I encountered a fatal error that appeared in the browser console log. Since the debug log wasn't enabled, I enabled it and recreated the issue to obtain proper details about the error. In the log file, I noticed an error from the WPML SEO plugin. One of the functions is not working correctly because it is not receiving the correct number of arguments. I also noticed traces of the Yoast SEO plugin in the log file. To confirm whether the plugins are updated to their latest versions, I checked the plugin section and found that the installed version of Yoast SEO is very old(4.0.2). The WPML SEO plugin does not support this older version of Yoast and it could be the reason behind the Fatal error. Upon deactivating the current Yoast SEO Premium plugin, the stock got updated without any issues. So, if you want to use the Yoast SEO plugin with WPML SEO, please update the Yoast SEO plugin to its latest version(22.8) and then check again. I hope it will help. Let me know the update. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter. Best regards, |
