Today, we released ACF Multilingual 1.8.0. For this release, we targeted many issues that happened when field groups were marked as Translatable. This means you can now translate field groups without worrying that they won’t save or display the correct translations.

ACFML 1.8.0 makes translating your ACF field groups far more straightforward. This is thanks to several usability improvements, bug fixes, and a special focus on issues with translatable field groups.

We were able to specifically address a number of known issues, which means you can now do the following:

  • Shuffle repeater fields without having to update translations
  • Display translations for Repeater Fields
  • Translate Options page without specifying a custom POST_ID
  • Export or import fields with Local JSON for secondary languages

Also included is the ability to easily apply translation preferences to fields in ACF Gutenberg Blocks. Plus, you won’t have any more issues related to WPML not recognizing an active ACF plugin or ACF in the theme and other plugins library.

A full list of included features and fixes is available in our changelog.

  1. After update I’ve noticed an issue with repeater fields with conditional display inside of them. When You check the default language everything works fine but when You go to translated page You will see… Nothing in place where this kind of fields is in use. I’ve found a way around by turning of this plugin.
